Merrifield’s ideas and leadership were instrumental in developing and launching Kelowna based start-up company Club Penguin in 2005, and leading the company’s phenomenal growth and success to a later acquisition by Disney in 2007. Today, Merrifield is a well-respected international technology executive and global philanthropist, and is leading construction of the Okanagan Innovation Centre.
