What’s that slinking through the shadows? Just i What’s that slinking through the shadows? Just in time for Halloween, it’s a wind-up black cat! Made in 1912 by Schuco in Nuremberg, Germany, this mechanical kitty crept along floors with a simple twist of its clockwork key. Both cute and a little eerie, it captures the spirit of Halloween fun while showcasing early 20th-century toy design. Over a century later, Schuco’s creations remain prized pieces for collectors and vintage toy lovers alike.
