Would you like to greet students or visitors in ns

Would you like to greet students or visitors in nsyilxcən? Would you like to master some basic vocabulary, and gain a deeper understanding of syilx culture and connection to place? This workshop will give participants a start on pronunciation, greetings and language meaning. This class is for everyone, regardless of heritage.

This workshop is designed as a series of four sessions. Dates are Tuesdays, September 16, September 23, September 30 and October 7.

Price is the total for all four sessions.

Local rancher, orchardist, businessman, author, and historian Frank Buckland wore these leather cuffs during his ranching days in the early 1900s. They protected his wrists from injuries caused by rope, wire, cattle, and other hazards of the job. The cuffs were both functional and fashionable; they added a touch of cowboy charm to Buckland’s ranch wear. Yee-Haw!
