Central School will soon be welcoming students bac

Central School will soon be welcoming students back to its classrooms. This beautiful and historic building, which cost around $75,000 to build in 1913 (that's about $2.1 million today!), is one of the few early school buildings in Kelowna that’s still used for education.

Would you like to greet students or visitors in ns

Would you like to greet students or visitors in nsyilxcən? Would you like to master some basic vocabulary, and gain a deeper understanding of syilx culture and connection to place? This workshop will give participants a start on pronunciation, greetings and language meaning. This class is for everyone, regardless of heritage.

This workshop is designed as a series of four sessions. Dates are Tuesdays, September 16, September 23, September 30 and October 7.

Price is the total for all four sessions.
