Museum staff scoured the collection to bring you some of our most curious and extraordinary objects. Of course, what makes something ‘weird’ or ‘wonderful’ is always a matter of perspective, influenced by time, culture, and individual experience.
This exhibition invites you to challenge your own assumptions. Discover the personal stories behind why staff chose the unique objects on display, giggle at the imaginative object descriptions from local schoolchildren, and test your detective skills by identifying mystery artifacts.

Self-guided school visits to the OHM
$50 for 10 students, $2 per each additional student. Maximum 30 students.
Those who self-identify as Indigenous visit the Okanagan Heritage Museum free of charge.
