British Columbia is known for its spectacular nature but there is little awareness of the many species under threat. Species at Risk is a fun and illuminating mobile museum housed in an inventively re-made trailer and accompanied by skilled and personable interpreters from the Royal BC Museum and the Robert Bateman Centre.
Kelowna Museums is happy to be hosting this new travelling exhibition coming to Kelowna August 24th to 28th. Species at Risk looks at why certain species are in danger, what their loss could mean and how you can help. Stay tuned for more information on public programs and special events that will accompany this exhibition.
