Meet Kendra, our Museum Administration Assistant!

We’re lucky to have Kendra with us at the Okanagan Heritage Museum this summer. Kendra helps ensure visitors have an exceptional experience. She also keeps busy responding to inquiries and managing visitor statistics.

"The most rewarding aspect of working at Kelowna Museums is the incredible team—supportive, passionate, and genuinely welcoming. The environment here is both inclusive and engaging, and I’ve never felt more at home in a workplace. A close second is hearing visitors share their personal connections or memorable experiences with our exhibits. It’s truly fulfilling to help foster those meaningful moments through history and education."

One of Kendra’s favourite things is when visitors tell her how much they like our exhibition on homelessness. “It really just makes my day because that’s my favourite exhibit. I think it’s so important to share the stories of people using
their own voice, and I'm so glad that Kelowna Museums recognizes the importance of showing this part of our community as humans with real struggles.”
