Come experience a tour about Asian Canadians during the WW1 and WW2 at the Okanagan Military Museum. Following the tour, a short documentary film Finding Fred Lee will be screened and afterwards, creator and director, Jack Gin will provide a quick commentary and a Q n A session.
Finding Fred Lee
Finding Fred Lee is the story of a young man from Kamloops who joined the Rocky Mountain Rangers in 1916 when anti-discrimination was rampant. Killed during the battle of Hill 70, a walkway is now named after him at the Hill 70 Memorial in France. This is also Jack Gin’s story of the years of research to recover Fred Lee as part of Canadian History.
