Megan has been hard at work in the lab! This map i Megan has been hard at work in the lab! This map is from the 1920s and shows irrigation work that was done at Black Mountain in 1920 and 1921. The map had extensive tears, dirt and would not lay flat. She was able to gently clean the surface using smoke sponges and eraser crumbs. Megan then washed the map with a distilled water solution and used wheat starch paste and Japanese tissue to repair any tears.
