Kelowna Museums is proud to host a special production at the Laurel Packinghouse presented by The Story Theatre Company in partnership with the Royal BC Museum. “The Call Went Out” is a theatrical piece based on letters from BC soldiers to loved ones at the beginning of World War I. Slides and music from the period are used to portray their reflections on the early years of the war. The 30 minute performance is followed by a discussion and sharing of archival material from the Royal BC Museum. This is a free, family friendly event open to all ages.
“The Call Went Out” will be touring across British Columbia throughout November. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this theatrical journey to the early years of the First World War.
