Virtual Lunchbox Lecture: Silversmithing and Design with Marion Radawetz

September 15, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Marion Radawetz was working in hospitality before finding herself on a journey through First Nations governance. Her experiences in supporting First Nations people and culture through a grassroots approach became the inspiration for her art. Her artwork reflects her culture and heritage in the form of silversmithing and jewellery design under her Skookum House Jewellery label. Marion receives her inspiration for her designs through the animals from the syilx oral stories called cəptiƛ̓t.

Chew on this! A virtual lecture series, coming to you wherever you like to eat your lunch. Kelowna Museums, Kelowna Art Gallery and Sncəwips Heritage Museum have partnered up to bring you the best guest speakers for all things Okanagan.
