The intention of the Inspired Word Cafe (IWC) Collective is to build a robust, sustainable, connected, creative public art forum. IWC practice’s Love through the energies of kindness, tolerance, justice, freedom of expression, respect, compassion and encouragement.
Inspired Word Cafe continues to be the hottest open mic vehicle in the Kelowna area and the Okanagan valley offering poetry, spoken word, and music.
The Okanagan Heritage Museum is proud to be hosting the Inspired Word cafe for the Fall/Winter of 2015 and Winter/Spring 2016 for two shows a month: every first and third Thursday. Doors open at 5pm, show starts 5:30 pm sharp. Feel free to come down early and take in the exhibits at the museum.
Thursday September 3rd features the talents of Mr. Smith (poetry, drumming, beatboxing, freestyle) at the first show of IWC’s sixth season.
