Exploring Identity Through Story

September 23, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

KCR Community Resources in partnership with Kelowna Museums will be releasing the short film Reclaiming Me; a group of Kelowna youth share stories on keeping their own (shifting) identities while exploring the complexities of living within a new country, new systems, and communities.

Panel Discussion
Film Participants, along with the project and film’s Facilitator & Director, will share how story and community-led to exploration, learnings, and dialogue throughout the project. Participants will discuss the importance of creating brave spaces and opportunity for such meaningful, multi-directional conversations to occur.

Director, Reclaiming Me: Marcel Daly
